1. ๐จ Adobe: Soft Outlook Despite AI
Adobe's Q3 results exceeded expectations, with revenue growing 11% to $5.41 billion ($40 million beat) and earnings per share of $4.65 ($0.11 beat). The company has integrated its Firefly AI model into its creative software products, accelerating revenue growth. The new AI assistant has been critical to the rapid growth of Document Cloud, which showed no sign of a slowdown. Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO) grew by 15%, indicating continued momentum.
Despite beating Q3 estimates, Adobe's stock fell due to a weaker-than-expected Q4 revenue forecast of up to $5.55 billion, short of the $5.6 billion consensus. The company's focus on AI innovation and its potential for a new growth phase remains compelling. Still, investors might be anxious to see evidence of a stronger AI-driven revenue uplift in the near term.
